AkroDYNE® Dynamic Balance System
The purpose of the AkroDYNE® Tire Dynamic Balance System is to help assure tire quality. This is done by measuring, grading, marking and sorting tires according to static, couple, and upper and lower plane imbalance. All Micro-Poise dynamic balancers utilize a “force measuring” imbalance-sensing system in conjunction with computer based software. There are several advantages to this system. The force measuring system accurately measures the imbalance in a wide variety of tires. The electronics are very stable and allow the machine to be calibrated for all production tires. Tires are measured while inflated and rotating.
The AkroDYNE® can automatically adjust to different tire widths and test conditions while processing a variety of tires with various bead diameters (adapter dependent), outside diameters, section widths, and weights. These features make the AkroDYNE® Tire Dynamic Balance System a high up-time, high-throughput and ergonomically friendly machine.
Options on the AkroDYNE® Dynamic Balance System include:
The AkroDYNE® Dynamic Balancer system is designed maximum access to the machines main components while also keeping the operator and bystander’s safe. The exit drop conveyor drops down for easy access to the testing stations as well as the markers. Protective guarding with access doors around the machine, open when the machine has been safely stopped. This allows easy access to the entire machine
Modular Tire Measurement System (MTMS)
MTMS is designed to optimize the tire measurement process for uniformity, dynamic balance and geometry inspection, by combining these functions into a single process. In its most efficient configuration, the total system cycle time is the fastest in the industry. In addition, each individual measurement station insures the best measurement precision and accuracy.
