Micro-Poise Measurements Systems is featured in the Cover Story of the April, 2010 issue of Tire Technology International.

In this issue, the Cover Story is titled “Testing Technology” and begins on page 16. Micro-Poise’s AkroMARK™ Hot Stamp Marker is highlighted on the front cover, marking a tire in Micro-Poise’s final finish Modular Tire Measurement System.

Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Shaun Immel, discusses Modular Tire Measurement Systems (MTMS) and how they achieve final finish efficiencies to meet customers’ changing requirements while minimizing costs.

The MTMS system offers the most efficient final finish configuration commercially available. MTMS includes a tire entrance station with bead lubrication, the ASTEC® PLUS Tire Evaluation Center, AkroDYNE® Dynamic Balance equipped with the TGIS-SL® “Sheet of Light” geometry measurement system, and accessories such as the AkroMARK™ Hot Stamp Marker.

Dr. Immel recently published a white paper titled, “Final-finish tire testing: what is the true costs?” This paper details the true costs of final finish tire testing and how to minimize those costs. Contact us by email to receive your copy of Dr. Immel’s white paper.
