The Chinese government has awarded Micro-Poise Industrial Equipment (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WFOE) license, allowing the business unit to manufacture and service equipment in China.

This new manufacturing facility is located within 500km of 25 automotive plants and provides Micro-Poise with the ability to manufacture tire uniformity and balance measurement equipment for Chinese manufacturers as well as global tire and automotive companies manufacturing in China. In addition to new sales opportunities, the new facility allows Micro-Poise to provide superior service to our global customers.

For better support of the rapid growth of the tire and automotive industry in China and the Asian market, ITW RQP set up the ITW IEB Guangzhou Branch Company in June 2006, which is based on ITW China - Guangzhou Office established since 1993. Micro-Poise Measurement Systems Guangzhou Rep. Office’s main focus is to strengthen the sales activities to both the tire industry and the automotive industry as well as after sales services in China and Asia.

There are many sets of RQP equipment sold in the Chinese tire industry and Micro-Poise Measurement Systems Guangzhou Rep. Office will actively support the tire sales and directly conduct the automotive sales activities and spare parts as well. It will provide quality installation services, technical support as well as training for the Chinese and Asian markets. The Guangzhou Rep. Office will stock most of the key components in its warehouse to support our clients efficiently.

Established in 1984 as a European service and sales organization for Akron Standard (www.micropoise.com) and RJS Corporation the company was acquired by ITW in 2001. Today it has grown to be a full service organization with an installed base of over 200 systems in Europe.

Micro-Poise’s equipment is at almost every tire company in Europe.

Micro-Poise Measurement Systems UK Ltd., has been established in the UK over 25 years, formerly a subsidiary of Hofmann in Germany, but since 1997 an ITW company. The office has recently moved to new premises in High Wycombe where it shares facilities with ITW Instron. It has vast experience in all types of balancing machines from manual to fully automatic, plus tire uniformity and geometry machines. This office currently employs 9 people of which 4 engineers are responsible for the after sales and service for which it has an outstanding reputation.

Profile - Micro-Poise Measurement Systems UK Ltd. is a Sales and Service office responsible for the automotive and tire industry in the UK and Ford of Europe. It has Ford Q1 status and is accredited with ISO 9000 Quality and ISO14000 Environmental 12 Standards to meet the needs of our customers. Services include full project management capability and broad experience for the installation, commissioning, and calibration of all current machines.

In addition to machine commissioning and installation, it provides technical direction, solutions and training to our Korean and Japanese customers for fast and successful startups.
